No printing statement, 8vo, burgundy and black boards, 340 pages, b/w plates. VERY GOOD book / VERY GOOD- jacket: book has light edgewear, a sunned spot at spine tail, internally clean and tight excepting 3 tiny pen marks in the margin of 2 pages; jacket has light chipping at spine extremities and corners, a 1" chip out of spine tail, faint staining to bottom rear panel. Lady Lutyens published her correspondence as the young Emily Lytton to the Reverend Whitwell Elwin of Booton Rectory, where she poured out all the bewildered questions of youth from the time she was thriteen until she married Ned Lutyens.
