(Edinburgh & London) 178p., 156p., and 163p. respectively; full deep-red calf, beautifully bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, with gilt border, raised bands, gilt decorated spine; all edges gilt, marbled endpapers. VERY GOOD+ : books show lt. wear to the leather at the corners and spine head and tail; v.1 has lt. rubbing along spine edge; lt. sunning to volume 2 front board at edges; spines are lt. darkened a deeper red; the volume labels on the spines of all three volumes have been re-glued; the title label of v.1 and v.2 have a tear and appear to have been re-glued at some point; owner bookplate to fep of v.1; interior pages are in FINE condition. A lovely set.
